i drew up some i was going to get made until i found a set, ill dig the pictures out.
still got a set of type 16 ones as well im holding onto incase i decide to go for more power, could draw them up too i guess

to date ive had no issues running spit calipers and discs with green stuff pads, stops pretty well.
I kept the vitesse mounting brackets just incase i needed the upgrade.
I suspect having vented discs would be overkill, to be fair though overkill on brakes must be a good thing!

I spoke to the guy that serviced one of the Standards racing at the Revival, and they used GT6 hubs,brakes ect.

type 16 is gt6 caliper spacing. interesting info

All true!
The GT6/Vitesse Vertical link is exactly the same dimensions as the Late 8&10/Early Triumph Herald one.
The only difference is the stub axle hole. It is a bigger diameter and from memory the stub axle is an inch longer than the Late 8&10/Early Triumph Herald stub axle.
The Type 16 calipers are very heavy. I would be tempted to do the conversion complete. This is what the McNeils have done to their racing 10.
