Bought this back in January 2008. It had been garaged for 10 years
Spent a few days on the Isle of Wight getting it through an MOT so I could drive it home. It was the cheapest way to get it across that little strip of water.
April 2009 and after seeing Pete's red oxide 10 and some encouragement from Martin, the decision was made to modify ;D
First job. Lower it!
Using axle on top of spring method.
And chopped springs up front
Next job was more cc. 1500 spitfire straight swap ;D
Unfortunately it didn't last long so I went for the 1300 Herald engine
Alloys were a bit Marmite....
Angry eyes and hooks ;D
Banded steelies
Then I sold it to Andy. Still not sure why I sold it but he's looking after it and doing stuff beyond my skills ;D
