Theres are few things that are relatively easy to do to get low.
Rear end
You can remount the axle on top of the springs instead of underneath (flipped axle). This gives a health drop in ride height (around 100mm)
How to:
Before you start you will need to measure the pinion angle, with the car sat on the floor (you may find this easier to do with the prop uj unbolted from diff). You need to be quite accurate so use an inclinometer or a digital level or spirit level and protractor
Jack up car support on axle stands, remember the stands need to be out of the way of rolling the axle in and out and dropping the springs down. Take the wheels off, disconnect handbrake cable and flexi brake pipe (clamp it first). Undo the 4 bolts holding the prop to diff, i just rested mine on a bit of wood on the floor, don't let it fall out of the gearbox end as gearbox oil will go everywhere! Removed the damper droplinks from body mounts.
Get your jack and support the axle, undo the 4 u bolts and remove all the bits, remembering the order they came off in. Axle is now free to be removed from under the car.
Now move axle somewhere easy to work and set about making some new saddles, using the old ones as a template (see picture above and make sure you drill the hole the correct sizer and place!!) Clean up the axle casing along the bottom where you will be welding the new saddles on with a flap disc. Now is a good time to consider chopping down the damper drop links to suit the lowered height, 3-4 inches will be enough.
Undo the rear spring shackles and drop the rear of springs to floor. Where the axle mounts there is a bolt holding the leaves together you need to undo it and put it in from the other side, the head of the bolt locates in the hole in the saddle!
Stick axle back on jack and slide it under car and into its new position. Refit rear spring shackles. Slot the new mounts onto the bolt heads and position the axle over them, refit the u bolts and associated parts in correct order, take some measurements to ensure the axle is exactly central!! Then nip u bolts up so axle is held firm but you are able to shift it enough to get the pinion angle correct. Refit wheels, get car back on floor under its own weight again. Stand back and admire the new stance for a mo. Now you need to set pinion angle, then tack spring saddles to axle casing.
Car then need to go back up on axle stands with wheels off, undo u bolts, weld up saddles, quick coat of paint and reassemble leaving the u bolts at just nipped up again. Bleed brakes
now you could do with a flat bit of road outside your house!!
Drive car slowly down the road and coast to a halt, do not use your brakes, get under car and tighten up the u bolts, this makes sure the axle tracks right.
